Yadle’s search allows users to search for files using whatever information that know about the desired files. Parametric search terms can also be added to find files based on ranges of values such as size, resolution, or age.

3D images, geometry and point clouds are thumbnailed by Yadle and displayed in search results as a scrubable turntable. Yadle can search by normalized metadata in your files, allowing searches of 3D by metadata such as materials used in the file.

Visual representations of files in search results improves search accuracy and minimizes lost effort loading wrong files into apps.

Use File Channels to Manage Workflow

File Channels.jpg

Yadle File Channels provide a mechanism to organize and manage access to arbitrary sets of files stored anywhere within your infrastructure, without moving any files.  File Channels can be used to organize files into logical sets of reference material, files used in a particular shot, or all files used in a show.

File Channels allow the creation of virtual folders that contain files from multiple filesystems, directories, and geographic locations into collections that can be accessed and managed.

View File Activity

The activity of your organization's files is a reflection of human activity. Using Yadle Insights, you can get a historic view of file activities by dates and by time of day.  Insights also provide up-to-date reports of file activity as it happens, providing reports of file activities by folder and by geographic locations.

Viewing history and current file activities can help identify periods of low-productivity that can be improved, as well as periods of high-productivity that should be left undisturbed.
